I am an overtly ambitious guy,but that has not made me much of a achiever though.
I do not know why ,but I have a tendency of aiming for the stars but most of the time I end up reaching only some clouds!! May be, I overstimate my abilities.May be.
Life has always been unexpected for me(and I know for everybody else too).
Sometimes I aim at a particular target/desire and start sprinting towards it.I shake my world upside- down for getting it.I dream of it day and night.I leave no stone unturned in order to realize that beautiful dream WITHOUT EVEN REALIZING THAT I MAY FAIL.
And when I fail to make my aspirations a reality, when all my beautiful dreams break,I am shattered.I find myself ruffled , like a debris of hurricane hit home.
But somehow I manage to rekindle my hope . I always rebuild that small home of sands which tides of adversity washed away brutally.I fill myself up again with hope.
And then I confront a failure once again, which lefts my eyes full of tears.
You know why this heart breaks in such a way?!!?
Certainly because I NEVER EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED.
I am always in full expectation of getting what I want.I never realize that inspite of my best efforts,I may fail. That life may play a shocking hide 'n' seek with me.That something which I want from the core of my heart may not be granted to me.
Life has a tendency to teach us the lessons we dont want to learn at all.
So it taught me a lesson that I have to always keep in mind that" expect the worst".
Now, I am not all saying that we should not aim high and dream big and beautiful dreams.I believe that wonderful dreams and aspirations are the most powerful driving forces of human civilization. Our hopes and dreams inspire us to be at our best.
But the point which I am trying to hit is that with aiming high we should always be ready to accept what we may call "THE WORST CASE SCENARIO".
We should receive what life pours in our cup of life with grace and gratitude.
Perhaps it will help us keep our faith alive.
And keeping the faith alive even after falling/failing repeatedly, really is a obligation if you want to succeed as T.J. Watson ,the founder of IBM has said it so well by saying that
"success is on the far side of failure.....and if you want to succeed then double the rate of your failures."
And you cant have the courage to fail again and again if you dont have hope.

'life has a tendency to teach us lessons that we do not want to'...nice one :)
they say 'hope for the best. prepare for the worst'...bt its nt easy to accept failures! its nt possible to keep ur calm after failing ..! bt yes what we can really do abt it is to find out where we got wrong..analyzing the whole thing. over-expectation does nt make sense..i read somewhere..if ur a 60% scorer and u aim 90% ..then ur nt gonna succeed. success is gradual... u shd aim for 70 then 80 then 90... :)
someone said 'jump for the sun..u might not reach there but atleast u'll be off the land' ..i find it most inspiring :)
good post dude :)

Yeah ..its really hard to muster up the courage to fight again.
I think U r damn right by saying that success is gradual and we should analyse that where we got wrong.
So.. lets jump for the sun....:)
